Sea Monkey (Triop) (by Psykotrip)
Beautiful shot, but misidentification of the animal. Sea Monkeys and Triops are two different creatures. Sea Monkeys, also known as brine shrimp, are small (around an inch at most), whitish salt water crustaceans. In comparison, the freshwater Triops (both singular and plural of the word has an “s” on it) can be a couple of inches and as you can see can be quite colorful as well. :)
Commission: Baby Sea Monkey Hat by ~art-fiend
These baby sea-monkey hats are super tiny and soft. The baby was due at the beginning of November so warm hats were essential. Now the baby will have a warm winter hat when he/she is newborn, and for his/her second winter too.
The smaller hat (on the right) will fit a newborn to 3month old baby. The larger hat will fit a one year old baby.
The hats are made from lime green fleece, with pale yellow fleece features. The eyes and mouth are hand embroidered for extra durability.
Oh my goooooosh these are so precious!! If I were to have a baby, I’d want hats like these for him/her. :3

I am the Sea Monkey Junkey. I love Sea Monkeys. Yes, that's right, brine shrimp. I also love their freshwater cousins, fairy shrimp, clam shrimp, seed shrimp, daphnia, cyclops, water fleas, as well as "Itsy Bitsy Sea Dragons" (an Australian breed of brine shrimp), "Itty Bitty Sea Bubbles," and their wonderful little buddies sold by Little Aussie Products, such as tiny snails (Teeny Weeny Winkles and Cute Little Coco Snails) and adorable tiny sea slugs (Sea Puggles).
To put it simply, I love tiny water invertebrates!
I love raising them, watching them, showing them off, and sharing what I know with others who underestimate these neat creatures as well as those interested in raising them themselves.
